Caesar dressing has a good nutritional value. What's more, a homemade dressing tends to taste much better.
The dressing is also incredibly easy to make. I cannot emphasise enough how incredibly easy and nutritious it is to make your own mayonnaise.

Most traditional Caesar salads are not keto but with a few simple changes, you can lower the carbs and increase the protein.
Now add your choice of protein.
Add your favourite cheese, for me it has to be blue cheese and parmesan. In general, the Caesar salad also has a good nutritional profile, just remember to skip the croutons or choose a LCHF-friendly bread alternative.

Keto Caesar Dressing Recipe
I remember the day I found out that Caesar salad dressing had anchovies in it {insert sick emoji face here!!}. Once you wash lettuce or other leafy greens, you can keep them in a large ziplock bag or container with a piece of kitchen paper.
You can serve sliced chicken or cubed, whichever is easier.
Tomato – optional, but traditional salads always need the colour and flavour of a few cherry tomatoes.
Caesar dressing might be one of my absolute favorites when it comes to salad dressing. Together with fried chicken fillet, , parmesan cheese and romaine lettuce you get a real taste bomb in your mouth.
It doesn't take many minutes to whip up the dressing. When the skillet/griddle is hot, add the chicken and cook, turning as needed, until fully cooked through and no longer pink. The nutritional profile of the whole meal depends on how much chicken and other ingredients you have in your salad.

Keep the screen lit
Grate the garlic, or chop it finely.
Find a narrow and tall bowl/bowl where you can fit your hand blender.
Insert egg, garlic, anchovies, caper, Dijon mustard, pressed lemon and the Parmesan cheese in the bowl.
Carefully pour on the two oils.
Place the hand mixer in the bottom of the bowl and start mixing at full speed.

So I make all of our dressings and they actually taste better than anything from the store or restaurants.
How many carbs are in a Caesar salad will depend on what ingredients have been used, how many croutons have been added, and whether it is served with bread on the side?
To replicate that crunch, cucumbers will do nicely. Quite simply a tasty and filling salad that most people always come back to.
My LCHF recipe contains, among other things egg, anchovy fillets, rapeseed oil and olive oil. I was not okay with that.
How to make keto Caesar salad family-friendly.
Because you add whatever salad ingredients, cheese, or protein you have in the fridge (you know I always encourage you that leftovers are king), then pour over the top plenty of homemade mayo.
Children always love a fun meal that they can make themselves and have some control over.

A classic keto Ceasar salad has parmesan cheese, but if you aren’t a fan, you can swap it up.
